Administrative Assistant Intern (Unpaid)

Administrative Assistant Interns will perform the front desk responsibilities of answering the telephone, receiving visitors and assisting with corporate office projects.

Community Board Member
|
Community Development Board members will assist TreeHouse staff in raising awareness in the communities served (Brooklyn Park, New Hope, Plymouth/Wayzata, Minnetonka, Bloomington, St. Louis Park and Chaska) through planned community events and fundraisers.

Donation Drive Coordinator
|
Volunteers are needed to coordinate and execute drives to collect items needed by each TreeHouse area. This is a fun project for church groups and scout troops. Lists and fliers for each TreeHouse are provided and volunteers are asked to collect items and bring them to their local TreeHouse. Items include toilet paper, paper towels, light bulbs, household cleaners, garbage bags, mulch, snacks and bottled water for trips and activities.

Envelope Scribe

Do you have nice penmanship? As an envelope scribe you will hand-address envelopes that will be used for our annual Christmas card and Year End Appeal letters. This volunteer opportunity can be arranged to be completed off site.

Facilities and Maintenance Assistant
|
Serve as an assistant to our Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor by assisting him with various home improvement projects and repairs that require more than one person to complete the job. Some projects in the past include: painting, tree trimming, and van seat repair.

Gala Event Committee Member
|
Serve on the planning committee for our annual Gala event and assist with various fund-raising related tasks such as sponsorships, auctions, and marketing.
|

Gift Card Drive Coordinator
|
Volunteers are needed to coordinate and execute gift card drives to collect gift cards for their local TreeHouse area. This is a fun project for church groups and scout troops. This opportunity can be done around the holidays at your place of work, school, or church by hanging a stocking up for TreeHouse and people can drop in a gift card of their choice in the stocking as their gift.

Going Deeper Volunteer
|
Going Deeper meets on Thursday evenings year-round and it very similar to a youth group program. Volunteers focus on developing connections with the youth that attend, as well as assist with program components such as games, small groups, etc.

Golf Event Committee Member
|
Serve on the planning committee for our annual Golf for Hope tournament and assist with various fund-raising related tasks such as sponsorships, auctions, and marketing.

Group Project - Adopt a Room
|
This is a great opportunity for a corporate team of volunteers, a youth, scout or small group to participate in by serving others through working together to accomplish a goal. As an Adopt a Room Sponsor you will help create and design a themed room along with gather/ donate the materials to help your design come to life! You will be able to paint, decorate, and add themed items to make the room feel more inviting, fun, and welcoming.
