Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA)
TreeHouse has been a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability since 1988. ECFA is an accreditation agency dedicated to helping Christian ministries earn the public's trust through adherence to Seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship. Charities Review Council
TreeHouse has been reviewed by the Charities Review Council and is proud to have met its Accountability Standards. The review examines four critical areas - public disclosure, governance, financial activity and fund-raising - and provides nonprofit organizations such as TreeHouse the opportunity to demonstrate accountability and transparency to those who support them. The Charities Review Council helps donors make informed giving choices by providing tools and information about charities. Minnesota Council of Nonprofits (MCN)
The Minnesota Council of Nonprofits is a statewide association of nonprofits that informs, promotes, connects, and strengthens individual nonprofits and the nonprofit sector. As a member of MCN, TreeHouse has access to multiple cost-saving benefits, including two free resource publication, discounts at all MCN events, trainings and conferences, and access to special discounts with participating businesses. TreeHouse is also part of the collective public policy work that MCN does on behalf of nonprofits, such as the charitable tax exemption campaign and raising the audit threshold for nonprofits.
Christian Leadership Alliance (CLA)
Christian Leadership Alliance is the nation's leading resource for enhancing the organizational effectiveness of churches and para-church ministries. CLA seeks to build the body of Christ by building people, and thus, enhancing the effectiveness of Christian organizations. CLA provides resources and experiences relative to TreeHouse's Christian context and organizational priorities, allowing TreeHouse to focus more of our attention on our mission. One benefit of CLA membership is access to The Engstrom Institute. The Institute's purpose is to assist para-church ministries in becoming more effective as organizations by providing top-quality resources to empower its users to improve their governance, leadership, and management.
