Corporate Partner Stories
Thank You General Mills!
For 56 years General Mills has been investing in their communities. General Mills and TreeHouse have a partnership that goes back seventeen years beginning in 1993. Since that time, General Mills employees have served on the TreeHouse Board of Directors and donated through United Way, providing business expertise and financial support to both TreeHouse staff members who raise part of their support and the organization at large.
The General Mills Foundation has been instrumental in providing grant dollars, and supporting major fundraising events with in-kind gifts. General Mills employees and retirees are encouraged to go out into their communities and serve as volunteers and we, like many non-profits, have benefited from these special hands and hearts!
Target Partners to Enrich Our Communities!
Since 1946, Target has given 5 percent of its income to support and enrich the communities they serve. Target partners with TreeHouse in small and big ways, from a few hours volunteered by Target team members to large-scale event initiatives raising funds and awareness for at-risk teen issues.
Target has generously given of their talent -- increasing the proficiency of TreeHouse staff through their business acumen; their time -- employees bringing smiles to the faces of staff and TreeHouse teens at fall kick-off events; and financial and gift-in-kind support -- enabling TreeHouse to secure more corporate sponsors, attract new major donors and increase awareness to the good work of TreeHouse. Target has made a direct impact on the lives of local teens, helping TreeHouse achieve a profound and lasting impact on our communities!
