Tim joined the staff of TreeHouse in the spring, 2016, after serving as CEO at Urban Ventures in Minneapolis. Under Tim’s leadership, Urban Ventures developed social enterprise programs that provide employment and learning opportunities, while generating profits to support the broader mission of the organization. Prior to Urban Ventures, Tim was CIO, Senior Partner, and Executive Team Member for CarVal Investors, an investment management business unit of Cargill, Inc. Tim’s breadth of financial expertise, global investing, and executive leadership experience combined with his enthusiastic and entrepreneurial spirit complements TreeHouse. Tim sits on many other for-profit and non-profit boards and investment committees. Tim resides in Edina with his wife Tara and their three children.
Trish joined TreeHouse in August of 2016 after many years at Target Corporation. She was in a variety of roles during her time there, supporting various teams and executives. She was a youth leader for over 10 years at two churches in the Northern suburbs of Minneapolis, and received a Masters of Community Ministry Leadership from Bethel Seminary in 2013. In her role at TreeHouse, she is able to bring together her skills from the corporate world, her love of supporting and helping people in their jobs, her past education, and her passion for teens and helping them learn to love God.
Dave joined the staff of TreeHouse in fall, 2011 after serving at Youth With A Mission, a mission organization building homes and sharing messages of hope with the extreme poor and disadvantaged of northern Mexico. With over 20 years of non-profit experience in financial management and leadership, he has a proven track record of guiding organizations to grow in effectiveness and efficiency. Dave also served as Youth Pastor in his early career, and continues to have a passion to see young people transformed and healed in the midst of a culture that too often destroys and devalues them.
Marcus started at TreeHouse as an intern in the summer of 2007. He loved TreeHouse and officially joined in November 2007. He served as an Youth Outreach Associate, Area Director and Sr. Area Director at the Minnetonka TreeHouse. In September 2015, he transitioned to Associate Director of Outreach. Marcus has a passion for teens and all people to see themselves for who God says they are and were created to be and introduce them to a living hope.
Since November 2005, Angela has served on the TreeHouse staff in many different capacities. She first came to know and love TreeHouse as a year-long volunteer in 1999 and then went into full-time ministry as the Minister to Young Adults & Singles at Grace Church in Eden Prairie. When she returned to TreeHouse as an Area Director, she knew the TreeHouse core values and ministry approach were a perfect fit with her own passions to work alongside a team of people to serve those who are marginalized and in need of love, healing, and life transformation. Angela resides in Chaska with her husband Chad and their two young sons.
Andy has nearly 20 years of experience working with teenagers, staff, leaders and donors; and as an accomplished large group speaker. He has served as both a local youth pastor and in various leadership roles in the mission of Young Life. Swanda’s work at TreeHouse employs his passion for kids, along with a proven ability to create, execute and rally others around plans for growth. He and his wife Ashley reside in Edina with their four children – two sets of boy/girl twins.
Kevin has more than 20 years of success in sports, business and non-profit leadership. He’s held leadership positions at Fortune 500 companies, including GE Capital and SC Johnson Wax. Kevin founded The Forward Group, an executive coaching and training company whose clients include Coca-Cola, Procter & Gamble, and Duke University.
TreeHouse mission of life transformation is deeply meaningful to Kevin because he’s experienced it in his own life. A life transformed is the greatest gift we can give one another.
Kevin spends his free time coaching his son’s football team and traveling.
